i went with the epi black secondary and pink primary springs if you don't do this now you will end up doing it later and i bought the stock belt for it i got relatives that work at arctic cat so i got a discount and i removed the larger of the two shims you hold them up to each other and you can tell that one is thicker then the other but i do believe they recommend removing the smaller one and what is the tention supposed to be again??? sorry can't remember

I have the EPI black secondary spring, green primary spring, high lifter cdi, dynojet kit, and BIG GUN exhaust. I also bought the manual. Icouldn't remember from an earlier topic you guys were talking about and you guys said which one to pull. My area of experience is in the auto dept. where I did the electrical and motor rebuilds. Is there a HUGE diff. from the pink and green primary springs? Also is the dayco belt worth a crap or should I just get cats belt? Don't really want to waste the time putting it on then have it break on the tail.

I haven't had to replace a belt yet. But most of the discussion I recall on belts seems to indicate that the Dayco belts are not holding up very well and the Kawi 700 belt is the best replacement and is less expensive when purchased from Kawi than from Arctic Cat.
