Default after all these days of riding my 350X now this!!

today i started the bike normally, and ran great and idled fine, untill it started back fireing while idleing, i can hear it from the carb it makes this sucking noise and shuts down. i started it up again and i revved it and hit the limiter and revved back down making loud backfire and the idled for 2 secs and made that sucktion noise again and shut down. it makes that sucktion noise form the carb and wants to shut down but i rev it to stop that. what do u think is causing this? mabe due to the age and needs a carb rebuild? new jets?, or basically garbage now????

oh and what i mean about this sucktion noise it spits out fuel from the carb..

Choke off? Fuel on? bolts tight for carb? plug wire tight? plug good? valve adjustments? I'm brain storming here!,

everything is good, like i said the bike ran cherry like new and it idled better than my friends raptor, all the sudden it started doing this, new plug, valves well adjusted no noises, choke is off, there is fuel. checked if fuel wasnt going through (checked if the fuel cap was screwed). but everything is ok. spits out fuel and backfires like a mother******. this is wierd all the sudden it does this.

Sounds like bad timing or possibly a sticky valve.

ok today i turned on the bike started up first kick with choke and set it to half choke and idled fine no backfire or misfire, took the choke off and yay it idled prefectly fine no spitting fuel and or backfire. wierd what caused this to happen, i asked some guy today and said it could be crankcase back pressure? due to the age of the engine, but anyways everything seems ok for now. thanks your all your help.

Sounds like something got between the needle and seat, flooding the float bowl. ?? It could've dislodged and healed itself!
