Rubicon with 6 Outlaws?
#1
First, I was not there! One of my riding friends (A Polaris rider) was at the Bubba Junk Fri-Mon. He asked me if I saw the Rubicon with two Outlaws on front and 4 on the rear. I was not there, so I did not see it. He said he believes they were 26" Outlaws, but is not for 100% sure. The bike was owned by someone with Russleville Honda (ARK). He said it was rolling and pulling them along.
Was anyone there, or does anyone know anyone around Russleville with this bike?

Do you guys have many conversions like that down in your area, with duals I mean? There used to be a place in Couer De Alene, Idaho, that had highly modified atv's, with duals in the rear, duals both front and rear (both really narrow tires), hydraulic bucket loaders, other interesting mods. Not sure what the usefullness would be, but sure looked interesting.

The mega trax is a specialliy designed wheel i believe. I think it i similar to a dually wheel. I ve seen one. it was a polaris 500. It had dual front and rear 28 inch vamps. It had no power at all. The rubicon is weak compared to the 450 from what i have i felt by riding it. I think i could take my 300 4x4 and beat it anytime. Honda should have never discontinued the 300. Personally, for simply riding. I would much rather ride a recon if i wanted no bells or whistles attached. My 2 cents.

You didn't spend enough time on the Rubicon apparently. It turns 28" Outlaws while dragging the axles thru the mud with no probs and no engine mods. I don't think anyone saying a 300 will out do a Rancher, much less, a Rubicon can hope to be taken seriously.

hay hondas 500 has good power have u rode one? as far as the recon thats not to bad really i didn t think but you are right about them killin the 3004wd it was my 2th quad it wouldn t win any races and it had little shock travel but it could handle anything you did with it and never fail it had the best track record of all time in atv history and yea iv seen the dauly kit in dw once
but if u do that might as well go buy a tractor instead of turning your quad into one lol

Hey cowboy, I will check my pictures, I think I have some with duallys on my 300. It was not something you would want to ride very far. Its very NOT manueverable! The reason we did it was to cross a large stream that we have tried to cross many times and failed! We baptized many a quad at this place and decided that we were going to cross it one way or another. I made up some spacers so we could mount a set of extra tires on each bike and float them across the stream. We pulled a set off one quad and proceded to put them on each one until they were all across and then pulled a set off another one and sent them back for the last guy....Very time consuming I might add. But it worked and the area we found was well worth it. It took nearly 1 1/2 hours for 5 of us to cross and then get everything bolted back on and packed back up. The trails we found were some of the best I have ever ridden. We are going to try crossing again this next week when we go. It has been dry this fall and the stream may be lower. ( unless the beavers have been busy) Hopefully 3 feet or less so we dont have to float them again. Last time I tried "riding" across I made it but no one else would go. When I rode back the other way I didnt make it and trashed my cell phone while baptizing my machine and myself. It was fun though and a day I will never forget.

Thats just what i think, i rode a rubiconfor about 15 minutes and i wasnt impressed, Too many bells and not enough *****. i like the rancher, i like the foreman, i like the recon. but the 4trax 300 4x4 is the best 4 wheelr ive ever seen. ive been riding one since it was brand new in 93 till now, all i have done is service it. I think the foreman 450 has the most toruqe of any 4 wheeler honda makes. DO any of yall know the exact #s on the 450 and 500, id like to see them,I may just eat my lunch..
