New 250R pics
#1
I posted some new pics of my 250R after it's facelift in my Gallery. The pics proabaly won't be ready to view for awhile (moderator approval). The bike got a new pipe (ESRTRX-5 center mount), Cool Head, 39 pwk carb, shock wears, new seat cover, tank cover, black wheels, radiator shrouds, etc. It had a nicely ported 265cc cylinder for about 2 hours until it cracked from front to back So, for now it has a stock cylinder. I have been in touch with several builders about porting another cylinder for Dune/Agressive trail. We'll have to see!

The wheels on the KFX and the R are the same set. They are regular Douglas wheels (.160's) that I ruffed up with Scotch-Brite and sprayed Black (the wheels were brand new, no scratches or dirt). I painted them with Rust-Oleum (3 coats black, 2 coats clear). So far they are holding up well.
Unfortunately I sold the Zilla. Right guy, right money and it went. Probably won't ever be replaced (maybe a Banshee or another R, but no Zilla). The Zilla had a ton of mods (drag porting, big carb, pipe, etc) and would absoltely walk the 250R and most anything else around here. There really is no replacement for displacement!
