Default Is Mobil 1 Oil okay for the V-Twins?

My oil was pretty gas logged due to my rich condition on the carbs. I have a parts store very close by and I went and got some 5w40 Mobil 1 Full synthetic. Will this be okay for my BF750? I think I've heard of others running Mobil 1 and everything is fine. I just wanted to check.

You need Mobil 1 MX4t. It's made for wet clutchs, has no friction modifiers.Do a search and Go to Mobile 1 web site. Dont put the wrong one in, it could damage your clutch. I use Mobile 1 in everything.

The BF750 has no wet clutch so the regular Mobil1 will be fine, I would have at least have 300-400 miles on it before going to synthetic......

Mobil 1 15-50 used to have a red cap this is the best to use. It has since changed to a gold cap along with other weights of Mobil 1. Just make sure that you do not buy an oil that states "energy conserving" in the API logo. 15-50 is the weight you'll want to use.

I've been using the new Mobil1 0-40W in my P700 and it seems to like it. Anyone else using it?

I have been using Amsoil synthic 10-40w in my BF. Runs great on it. I have noticed easier starts and less warm-up time as well.
