Default don't know how to explain this one....

i found the weirdest thing today in my clutch case....ok i'll start from the begginging.

last weekend when i was riding i would hit a rough spot in a corn field and i would hear almost a "clunk" noise, just like a stalk hit my clutch case...well it only happened once or twice..and only when i was in rough spots or in corn fields.

today i was riding and i hit some rough dirt and it did it so i knew it wasnt stuff hititng my cover.. i took it apart and inside i found a link. a link to a chain that i have absolutely no clue how it got in there. i dont know if it fell in there somtime when i was working or what....but yeah anyway it did some work on my clutch..theres a bunch of notches out of it. not very deep ones though..no deeper than 1/16 of an inch but they're all over it

will this hurt it any?

im also lookin to get some clutch modifications....do i need the WHOLE kit or can i just order a spring for the primary and be ok? secondary?

sorry for all the questions but dont know who else i can ask about this kind of stuff. thanks for readin.

Are the marks from the link on the smooth part of the clutch? It may not do anything or it may tear up the belt. You dont need a whole clutch kit. You can get the primary spring.

i checked the belt aand it seemed fine...i couldnt find any notches or anything anywhere...the little notches in the actualy clutch are everywhere....

anyone tried my set up with the AAEN green?...kinda wanted to go with them since thats the pipe i have..

With my 250 I had the aaen stage 5 kit. That had the top end pipe not the torquer. You dont need the secondary spring but you can change the spring position to make it shift better.
