ANTBODY TRY CHANGING TO THE SETUP USED ON THE NEW 800 EFI ON A 2005 700 EFI---LOOKING TO GET BETTER TAKE-OFF, AND MAYBE PULL WHEELS OFF THE GROUND LIKE 800 CAN. ALSO IS THE DYNO-JET COMMANDER OUT YET FOR THE 700 EFI 2005-----------

I am not sure if you can setup the 700 like the 800 b/c I believe the 800 has a different clutch. The dyno-jet commander is not out yet for the SP700. It is supposed to be out soon.

The primary clutches are different from the 700 efi to the 800 efi and the parts in the secondary are different as well. You can obvously change the components in the primary to help but to get the best performance you are going to want to put the 800 primary clutch on the 700 the belt will sit down in the primary farther starting you off in a lower gear given you better bottom end you will also have to change the belt and some of the other clutching components as well we are currently testing with this set up right now at Hot Seat Performance and hope to have come up with a kit very soon. I'm guessing we will be seeing alot of this new EBS primary clutch on future models from polaris, it definetly works alot better. If you are looking to add fuel we also offer another form of jet kit for the efi models works very good and installs in about 10-15 minutes this will allow you to add fuel to the machine throughout the entire power band. If you have any more ?'s on this subject please contact Hot Seat Performance @ 651-982-0600 or e-mail us at tech@hotseaperformance.com

THANKS GUYS FOR THE HELP. WANT TO ADD THE 800 CLUTCH TO MY 700, WHAT CHANGES IN THE SECONDARY DO YOU RECOMMEND----DO YOU HAVE A CLUTCDH KIT FOR THE 700 THAT WILL DO THE SAME THING OR IS TH 800 CLUTCH THAT MUCH BETTER ????

That would be a very expensive investment if you were to put the 800 clutch setup on the 700. Just buy a clutch kit or change the primary spring. Changing the primary spring works wonders. You have to figure out where you want your power. If you change the stall at take off you wont be able to creep along without alot of throttle. You can have a little better take off with much more mid to top end.

You might want to try a heel clicker clutch in your 700. I have mine setup with it engaging around 1500-1600 rpms so its not like a stall and you can ride it around without giving it alot of throttle to get it to take off. I can get mine to pull the wheels in high range with the heel clicker but I also have some other mods that help.
