im lookin at gettin a 300ex and i was wonerin if they would make a good cross country raceing qaud and track qaud and what the top speed of it is and what mods i should put on it to make it race ready

 

unless you really want reverse, you can get a 400ex for about the same price if you think you can handle one. i mean their not hard to handle but if you want a 300ex they might be. the 400 would be better at both. but the 300ex is a very nice bikes. they are very dependable and pack a good punch for a 300!

 

i just got a 01 300ex for my old lady. we have had it out few times its good on trail's its got a DG pipe and silencer on it its pretty quick!

 

Its a fun quad bu a little light on power. I boght one last year and alredy sold it to get a kfx400. Make sure you buy something that youll hang on too for awile, id go with the 400ex.

 

I also have one but these guys are right the z400 or the 05 400ex would be a good choice. I like my 300 though they do have good power but not enough to be too much of a handfull. They are a real nice bike that is perfect in the trails.
