Default i made an aluminum air box for the lakota

well i have the whole lakota stripped down to just the frame and tires because the engine is going back to CWR i decided to make an aluminum air box. It starts where the gastank ends and goes all the way back to the rear shock and i made an alumiuminum tube that clamps to the carb then goes thru the box so i could clamp on the filter. it mounts on using the stock bolt holes for that big black part of the air box by the shock and i made some air scoops for each side so it flows good. Im not shure if im going to put a top on it yet because the plastic covers it pritty good but if i do i might even use my stock k&n filter to make a custom powerlid. The mach up i made is put together with duct tape insted of welding it because it costs quite a bit but once i get the final product done ill post some pictures. so what do ya think?

Sounds pretty sweet, but im just going to run an open filter, get the clamp-on from K&N it's easy and you get a great amount of airflow, but if you ride in mud the airbox you made would probably be a better idea. pm me when you get some pics up!
