Default '05 Rattle

Hi Folks, This is a great forum. Been readind it for some time now, but sighed up yesterday. I love my 2005 sportsman 500HO and have put it to the test and am amazed what the machine can do. But there is this one issue I have with it, it rattles where the front trunk meets the fenders. I don't belive mine is the only one doing this. Has anyone heard if Polaris is going to address this issue? Any info would be great.

mine does the same thing only at a certain RMP though. it's a very low RPM that i don't spend a lot of time at so it doesn't bother me.

i think you could slide a little piece of rubber pad between both to solve your concern.

BTW, a big W-E-L-C-O-M-E to the forum. you'll find this is the BEST forum on the net!

Haven't heard that rattle on mine. But I would think some foam rubber, like the kind you put on your truck sides before putting the topper on, would work great for it. I fixed the rattles from my rear fendors-under the rear rack-with it. I also insulated the rear fendors from the top of the rear storage compartment with it. Now my new '05 wheeler is completely rattle free! It took a lot less work on the
new '05 to get it rattle free and etc than my '03 was!
