ANYONE HEARD OF DURABULL FH49P
#1
I am looking to buy a small atv for a 6 y.o.. the Durabull FH49P looks to be a better choice than a kazuma/redkat due to front suspension and wireless remote kill. dealer says Linhai engine is yamaha clone. Price is $650.00 Any comments!

I've been doing the same search, and the durabull is on my list along with the BTM minimite 50, supposedly a honda clone engine... The single speed tranny is exactly what I'm looking for in a yard rocket, less for the kids to figure out.
The durabull is currently all over ebay with a "buy it now" of 825, plus 125 shipping is an even grand. For the grand I probably would look at the new yamoto 50, except I worry that it's physically too big for my girls.
Where did you find the DB for 650?

There are a few micro's with cvt's such as the Kasea mini 50.
If you buy a single speed and it can't get going on the driveway slope, don't be surprised.

There are several DB/BTM look alikes on ebay (BBS/etc) with 3 or 4 speed trannies. Better than the autos?
educate me, please!

I prefer the CVT's (continously variable transmissions) for the youngins. Has a belt and pulley system that gives a range of gearing (like a Polaris). But my 2nd choice would be semi auto.
Imagine trying to start your quad in 2nd gear. That's about what a single speed with centrifigul clutch is like. Except these kids quads have no power to begin with. More people have griped about the kfx50/lt50 for that reason (no power) than any other quad on this site. So no. I wouldn't recommend a single speed.

I saw the durabull on ebay also for $825 on the "buy it now" price, but the price they have been selling for have been in the 625 to 675 range if you look at the "feedback" area. I like the cvt due to some saying you get the low end torque and high speed without shifting, which is good for a 6 y.o.. just wasn't sure about the linhai/yamaha engine. I have seen alot about honda clones in the kazuma, but not anything on the linhai.

My engine is a Linhai Yamaha. Had it for about a year. Did not care for the stock carb on mine but others have had good luck. No problems since putting the Kehein on. Feel like I got a steal considering what I have in it.

OK. They switched engines. Guess I'll shut my fly trap now.
"And here is the BEST part: We now have a NEW ATV to offer. This thing has it all. These have Linhai-Yamaha engines. They are fully automatic by using advanced CVT belt transmission."
Be sure to get the new model.
