Default calling mudblaster

mudblaster,

You have responded to many of my prior posts. I have a 2004 Prairie 700, and am considering a 2005 Rubicon. I cannot afford both quads. I really want the bullet-proof reliability of the Honda, but fear I may miss the punch of the V-twin. If you had to get rid of one of your quads, which would it be? I appreciate your input.

I know you were asking mudblaster, but this post will get it back to the top of the forum

I don't think its fair to compare an 04 Rubicon to an 05. I should have waited for the new features on the 05, but I'm still happy with it. The 04 will make a nice back up quad in 2 years. If I do not go with a big bore, I will probably buy another new Rubicon.

If you aren't going to be happy without the punch, Rubicon will probably disappoint you after riding a v-twin around. Plenty of power up to 50, but my 04 almost falls on its face in the high 50s, the 05 should be faster as you can run in 2wd. The 04 will go over 60, but.....
