These are AC Nerf with the heel guards. The bars don't seem to line up on the pegs when the front in inserted together.

With my AC heel guard nerfs the aluminum work was great, the steel work was a little sloppy. I also didn't get the spacers or front bolts.

When I got them almost on, it took two people, a rubber mallet and a cargo strap to pull them together. Once all was seated, I drilled and bolted the foot pegs.

Most rewarding pain in the rear I've ever had.

Ok

That is the same kind i have.

first remove your foot pegs and heel gaurds, then lay the bars out at each side of the bike so you can see which way it all goes, the two black brackets you should have got go on where you took your foot pegs off. the nerfs then slide on to them and the frotn of the bars join together just above the frame , there should be liong bolts and spacers to allow the brackets at the front to go on to one of the engine mount bolts, you will need to remove the mount bolt and put the long one and spacer in its place.

Once the bars are on the (peg) brackets you need to drill a hole up throught the aluminium and put a securing bolt through. if you look you will see the bracket already has a hole in it.

Now unless AC has got there act together recently they probaby wont fit a 100 % i found an angle grinder 14 lb hammer and a block of wood were part of the tool kit for ghetting my left side bar on to the bracket,

If you still have problems pm me your e mail and i will send you some close up photos of the mounts, ther is a pic on my page but it doesnt show much.

okay, laid out nerf bars, removed pegs. still had some trouble with left side. decided to cut off part of the piece that slips together in front. used rubber mallet, pry bar and my husbands brut strength. finally got them on. look good, just took to much work. wasn't that hard to put on my 400ex. thanks for all your help.
uh, also the baffles? inside the pipe have been removed, does this mean a new muffler is needed? I tried the packing but doesn't seem to be right.

glad you got the bars on, not so glad to see AC still have no quality control.

As for the exhaust, there are no baffles in them just a spark arrestor on the stock end cap.
there should be a perforated tube type baffle with fibre packing wrapped round it but thats it with the end cap off tou should be able to look right through the muffler.

does it have one big hole or two small pipes coming out of the end?
