Top speed of my scrammy(just got my gps mount)

Well after all the mods I finaly got a gps, so now I can see how fast it will go!
It will pull the front end up without any help from me or hesitation. You have to hold on tight every time you hit the gas. As for trail riding it has more power than I need and can climb anything. So with all this low end I figured I would lose some on the top so I took it out today to test it with the gps.
Dirt got it up to 58!
Road it got up to 60.1!
It bounced a little on the road between 59.3 and 60 no matter how long I had it punched.
So I am happy with that as I usually never go over 40 were I ride trails.
The only way I would see to get it faster would be a modded rev limiter, and I don't think they even make one.

60 mph huh... i thought they go faster stock but thats good cause the trails u ride u never hit over 40... all u need is low end for trails anyway

ditto here ... I was sure they could go over 60 stock .. hell .. my warrior when it was nearly stock (slipon only) would go over 60 ... probably don't get there as quick as your scrammy tho .. sure you got your clutches dialed in good??

ya, im almost positive that a scrambler could go way past 60 because i was topped out on my lakota which goes about 60-62 and my neighbor with the scrambler went right by me so i figured he was going at least 68 -70

Did they have a 400 2-stroke? they will go a little faster than the 500
Im sure I could set it up for more top end but with the automatic, you can only do so much till it hits the rev limiter! Its how fast you get there thats important.
Once I get a rpm gauge I will be able to dial it in a little better maybe, but top end for me is not important.

They made a 400 2 stroke trail blazer for sure and that thing is quick, alot better then I thought it would be, and I think they used the same motor in the scrammbler for a while as well, which probably would be alittle faster then the 500 4 stroke. 60MPH sounds about right for that bike, I have 2 friends that had scammblers and when dragging my old raptor they topped out at a lower speed and the raptor does 70+ so thats probably just about right. So far the fastest we have had my wifes trail blazer is 40mph, which is pretty good for a 250 powered 450 pound machine I guess...
Hey Jimk, go to my pics in my sig, I am into RCs too, have some pics of them there! Whats your website you mention on your photo page??
