Default What Bike Should I Buy

Hi, i am new to this forum. I know you guys probably get this question alot, but I am gonna ask it again.

I need a new bike.

I am 22 years old, and i would consider myself a pretty experienced rider. i have been riding since i was 10. Right now i have 2 bikes and i would like to get a third. I dont care how much it costs, but i am very pickey about my atv's.

Right now i have a 97 mojave, that i have done alot of motor work to. It keeps up pretty good with my friend's z400. But he looses me when i run out of gears. I love this bike. The reason i love it is because it handles well. I find other bikes to be (z400's, raptors, ds650, etc.) to be too top heavy and tipsy feeling.

I think my other bike is great too. It is a 2000 blaster with a 2002 fuel injected gsxr 600 motor on it. This bike is very fast. It a little too fast. Live in new york and i do alot of trail riding. the bike is just too fast for the trails. Even though i geared it down, I can never leave 2nd gear. When i hit an open field none of my friends even have a chance of keeping up. Though this bike weighs about 500lbs, it rides alot like my mojave. It has a low center of gravity and it never feels tipsy.

For my third bike, i want something that handles great, and is faster then my mojave. It does not have to be the fastest bike made. I also would like reverse, but it is not a necessity. I was thinking of a 05 predator TLD, but that is one bike that i have never riden or even sat on.

I am looking for as much input as possible. Thanks.

The TLD Predator is a great quad. It's got plenty of speed, does great in the trails, and has excellent stock shocks. If you want something that size your going to have to get used to sitting in the air. After riding your Blaster, these 400 - 700 cc machines are going to feel very big. For trail riding I would avoid the KFX700 (too big physically) and any machine without reverse.

I had the same problem when I was buying a new bike (which was 2 weeks ago), I wanted a bike with reverse. I always had a bike with reverse, but I made the decision to get the ds650(no reverse), best decision i ever made. After a few times of riding you will not even think about having reverse!

I love the z400 because of it size and stance...easier to handle. I love my DS for trail riding because it's so big n comfortable. (6'1, 200lbs guy)
