Default Question

I have a 2004 polaris 330 magnum 4x4. Could anyone tell me the proper idle speed. It is not in the owners manual. I adjusted it up just a little and it starts so much better. Thanks

Honestly couldn't tell you the speed on my 04. Somewhere between won't die when it's stopped and won't grind when shifting into gear. Anywhere in between those two that you're comfortable with. Sorry for the lack of technical advice, but that's how I've done all of mine.

From the service manual it should be 1300 +/- 200 but it also says when adjusting start at 1200 check throttle cable foreplay after adjusting idle speed and adjust as necessary...

Well as long as you arent creeping when idling in gear you should be ok. And like Scootergpx said, it shouldnt grind when shifting normally.
