oil in air box

Default oil in air box

I have scrambler 400 1995 I looked in air box and I found a small
pool of oil. im mixing the fuel .does it mean my reed valve is bad?

You may be mixing too much oil into the gas or have you had the quad up on end for any lenth of time?

yes,I had it up on its tail.I mix 40 to 1.

Not sure what the ratio should be but sounds about right.

I'll bet it was having it up on its tail, mixture ran into airbox and gas evaporated leaving oil.
