'03 rev limiter

'03 rev limiter
Does anyone know if a 2003 Sportsman 500 H.O. has a rev limiter. Cause i can swear that i have never hit it. I once revved it while in neutral with the diagnostics mode on and it said that the engine was spinning over 7000 RPM's! Just wondering.

oh i know that you aren't supposed to rev an engine that high with out a load on it....i only did it for a quick spurt so i dont think it would hurt anything...right up and then right back down.
