Check Engine Light on '04 700 efi
#1
The other day I rode around the yard with my kids for about 10 minutes and then went to the shed to mow some grass. The battery on the lawn mower was dead, so I decided to jump it with the sp700. The quad was not turned on when I did this. I just jumped the mower with the sp700 battery. So later, I am putting my quad away for the evening and I notice the check engine light is on. I ran the diagnostics and the code "45" shows up. This code is "Barometric Pressure Sensor: Circuit Low Input" What does this mean? How do I correct it? How can I clear this code and get my check engine light off? BTW, I would like to do this without paying an arm and a leg at the dealers. Although that may be what it takes. Thanks for any input in advance.

Thats what I thought too. I disconnected the Pos. terminal for about 2 minutes and hooked it back up. It was off when I first turned the engine back on, but then came back on.
I called my dealer today and he said as long as it was running okay, that the computer will just store the code for later. After telling him that the light keeps coming on, he said that he could hook it up to the computer and find out what is going on. That the sensor may be bad. I have a feeling that I should go to wal-mart and buy some vaseline. Not sure what is going to happen, but I'm not looking forward to getting scooooooooddddd.
