Default EPI in a 2002 500 HO

I installed a EPI sport-utility clutch kit on my HO and was not all that impressed with results. I lost about 2-3 mph on top end but the mid range feels better. I thought with the higher ingagment that I would be able to pull the front end up, but no way. The kit came with a orange, the one I used, and red primary spring, weights and helix. Engagement was high at first but got better as I rode it. I also have a K&N and ngk iridium plug in it, but I want more performance. Is there anything more that I can do with the Clutch?? Any help would be great, you guys here know your stuff!! Thanks

sorry I can't help, but I have a question: did you notice any improvement with that ngk iridium plug?

Ya, zerowick, I did notice that it idles better and starts better as well. When its alittle cool out you don't have to baby sit with the choke as much with this plug. Over all I am happy with it and it lasts a long time.

I am asssuming you switched out the spring in the secondary also. If so try the stock primary spring with the weight and helix set up and see what that gives you. What are you turning for RPMS???
