I've been playing with the jetting on my 700 again. I have a dial-a-jet on it and can't seem to get it to work. I have the snorkle removed and was going to adjust the dial-a-jet a little richer to compensate for more air. After playing with it I realized it didn't matter what setting I put the dial-a-jet on it didn't change at all. So I called and talked to len at thunder products and he said it sound like I was rich and the dial-a-jet needs a lean condition to work. So I droped from a 180mj to a 170mj put it back together and still could not tell any diference while adjusting the dial-a-jet. I unhooked the dial-a-jet and did a plug check with the 170mj and it look a little lean so the dial-a-jet should have worked right? I can go from a 170mj to a 185mj (without the dial-a-jet hooked up)and I can't tell any difference in my preformance and the plugs look the same with both jets just a little lean looking. Whats up with that?
