400ex cooling ?

Default 400ex cooling ?

hey is there any way that i can attatch a cooling fan to my frame or sumthing to help with the cooling a little bit??

a fan won't do anything unless theres some kind of radiator which theres not..its 400ex

Ohhh and YES 400ex's are COOL


braaap

seriously overheating shouldn't be an issue if you have carb/timing/compresion all in check

i would look into a FST oil cooler.

My 400ex has never had probs with overheating.

the 400ex's do have oil coolers from the factory. however, the FST coolers are about twice the size and by tapping into the head, they direct cooler oil right onto the camshaft. many claim the oil temperature can drop 30-40 degrees with one of these coolers. we do need to realize these are still air cooled so this won't be nearly as good as a liquid cooled bike but i guess everything helps.
