Default 400ex twinair filter

i just got a new 400ex and i am looking into a foam filter. i was just wondering if anyone has the twinair power kit. how was the install and how well does the filter work. i have a K&n filter on right now but that SOB flows more dirt than my 6 year old blaster twin air filter. anyway any other suggestions would be nice as well

Peace,
The Turtle

I no longer use K&N anywhere except street vehicles, and even there I use a foam wrap. Personally, I like the UNI. It comes with a very unrestrictive wire insert (compared to the stock insert), and is two stage like the twin air.

i would get the uni also. it is much larger and the cage inside it comes with is less restrictive than the stock one you use with the twin air.

is the UNI just a replacement of the stock or in my case K&N filter or does it require a mounting plate and such like the twinair kit?

Im pretty sure their reffering to the "pro flow" kit. This kit is the same price as the twin air power flow kit, and comes with a billit adapter to flow more air and so on.

you don't need anything that doesn't come with the uni. it doesn't come with a billet plate, but that isn't needed.
