I have a 03 trailboss. I picked up a warn 1500lb winch and it came w/ the mounting bracket for the rear?!? I didnt like the idea of mounting it to the rear(mud, etc)so I took the mounting plate chopped it up a bit and welded it to the front rack just behind the main bar to keep it away from hitting anything. It looks and works great. If you have the welding ability or can work some modifications, this is a great place to put it....just giving some ideas....I will post some pics soon....give you a better idea as to what I did. good luck!

You want to go to Big Buck ATV for the mount. The part number is WMP-R75. It is a ramsey mount. The cost is 39.95. You will have to buy a rollar farelead. The mount is very strong. Stronger then the bumper. All the mounting hardware is supposed to come with the mount.

I have posted my pics as to how I mounted mine to the front. To test the strength of it, I lassod a tree limb and winched the whole atv off the ground, so unless your are trying to pull a bulldozer around and you take into consideration some of the weaker points of the rack when mounting you shouldnt have a prblm.

thanks for the ideas guys...i got mine put on. i ended up using a piece of thick aluminum plate i had laying around and it fit right in the front rack perfectly. just drilled through and put some 1/4" grade 8 bolts in. not sure how the aluminum will hold up but we will see. it seems pretty sturdy though. thanks again
