K&N Filter lid

K&N Filter lid
I just got a K & N filter lid from a buddy, when I put it on it didnt run quite right. Would I need to rejet with this minor of a mod??? Im runnin the Pro Design k & n, w/ outerwear, stock lid (normally) with 12 - 1" holes with the little foam filters, Sparks full exhaust. Any ideas?
