At what speed does the raptor begin to pull away from the YFZ?

im pretty sure the yfz tops out at more like 73-75 and the raptor at least 75-77. in those ranges. think about it... raptor660 yfz450. displacement has a lot to do with top speed. bigger dispacement, more torque to spin the wheels faster and therefore have a higher top speed. gearing is the #1 speed restraint but if you dont have usable power or enough power to get there then whats the point. who cruises around at 90 miles an hour? top speed/ acceleration can be changed simply by changing sprockets size or tire diameter. your not going to get a really consistant # for the top speed of any quad. it depends on other things like elevation, how well your motor has been maintained etc. anyways, thats it...

I raced two YFZs and one 450r, beat both of them, the only time they were ahead of me was during the first 10 feet.

It mostly has to do with the rider, so you must be pretty good.

i ran 8.701 @74.9 mph.. i beat raptors stock as well as a 686 trinity raptor with15hp nitrous shot . well as other mods . he ran a 8.9 @73 mph a stock 450 will only do about 68-70 the raptor stock will do about 73 thats with the air box and baffle removed and jetted .

In the real world we ran 3 honda 450rs and 2 yfz's and 2 raptors. and the raptors ar a couple MPH fast then all of them. in an all out 2 mile run on flat sand. tests were conducted last weekend in florence, Oregon. but in reality it dont matter. its whats the most comfortable to you, what power suits how you ride.
