You guys should try a new Suzuki King Quad.

I have been a true blue Honda rider for many years. Everything else was - in my mind inferior. A friend let me try his 2005 Suzuki King Quad. Everytime we rode I asked if I could ride it, and I didn't want to give it back. It is sensational and I bought one of my own. I know Honda guys are very brand loyal and I understand why. I still think that nothing is as reliable as a Honda. I also think nothing is made as well or holds it resale better (except maybe the Rincon). But are they the most fun to ride and are they the most innovative? If you look at the King Quad it has it all - EFI, 2 wheel drive, 4 wheel drive, differential lock, independent rear. It all works together and is a fabulous bike, you should try one.

If I was going to shell out the money for a big bore I'd most likely get the King Quad. It came in 2nd in ATV Rider magazines Big Bore Shootdown. 1st was the Polaris Sportsman, followed by the King Quad, Rincon, Grizzly, and Brute Force.

I looked at the KQ in December, it lacked no features and it fit me well. I'm glad the local Suzuki dealer didn't allow demo rides or it would have been tough! Just wasn't what I wanted this time (I needed utility over sport)
Unless Honda makes a quad with a big bore Rubicon motor/tranny - Rincon chassis in the next few years, my next quad (I plan on keeping the Rubicon) will be a Grizz or King Quad, but things can change a lot in 3 years, like a [lighter than the others] big bore Outlander?
My first bike was a Honda (QA50), my favorite dirt bike was a Honda (registered XR600R), but I've enjoyed riding (a few, not all) other brands just as much.
I'm glad that all the other manufacturers are out there forcing each other to evolve.

I dont stop into the Zuki forum and start threads saying that the raptor or banshee is better than the z400 or tell you that the blaster will walk all over the z250 because regardless of how I feel its not my place to impose my opinions on others when its not relevant or requested. You're like one of those annoying telemarketers, at one point we dont care any more about the merits of the product because we're simply sick of hearing about it everywhere we go.

Dog, now you're really showing your ignorance. You are more close minded than I thought. What do you ride anyway?

Nevermind, you're the stubborn one here and I've got better things to do than argue with someone on the internet. I like the KQ, I just dont care to hear about how great it is from you every 5 minutes.
Between the local members of my family we have a few polaris', a zuki, a honda, a kawi, and an AC; and those are just the utes.

At least they kept it around 600 lbs., as does Honda with its big bores. I took a quick look at the Polaris web site, and everything above 400cc's weighs over 700 lbs. Totally ridiculous!

I'll buy a big bore as soon as a manafacturer can put an auto clutch manual shift on them instead of a rubber band, invest the R&D into a 6 speed box instead of the belt drive. Best out there so far is the new forman 500 IMHO. I think EFI will be trouble on a quad in the long run like it has been on snowmobiles , especially here in NL.
