Default Thinking about $$ a Powervalve

I was looking into buying a powervalve for my 250R. I am not sure of what brand. Is there anybody out there who has one, and what thoughts and opinions you have on performance and reliability.

Sparks--LRD---ESR---Duncan

Also, what is your compression ratings at??

Just burned my bike up,,not sure why yet,, I have not torn into it yet.

Thanks for for your comments and info.

I went with LRD but ESR would be a good choice also, I have the 350PV which requires center case machineing. You have to have a good bottom end so if it's never been rebuilt it needs to be for reliability. The power is impressive, pulls hard right off idle. I run 230psi comp on 110 octane race fuel, you have to have a pretty stout leg to start it but that's the only drawback to me. Less compression would kick easier.....

Thanks,

I have been leaning towards the ESR 265 Powervalve.. My problem is I only get 87 octane for fuel out here where I am at, 2.70 a gallon ouch. But Iwas thinking if I added some octane boost it might help,,or if I have a lower compression, but I was not sure on the compressions and octane.
