I am looking to get a sportsman. Help me decide, Which one would you get? Used 2004.5 EFI with 1800 miles for $5600, or a new 2004 600 for $6200. I am thinking more of the new but the used one has bumpers, winch, new tires (and its a 700 ). Help me out here? Anything to look for on the 700 that would be bad after that many miles?

 

Nothing against either machine, but personally, I'd get the new one. 1800 miles is a lot of distance to wear some stuff out.

 

Go for the new 600. You should be able to get an even better deal than that, if not, than $6200 better be the "out the door" price. For sure EFI is tempting, but way too many miles on it. Get the price down on that 600 and go for it, I love mine, paid $6000 "out the door" one year ago, so that left over should be less. Good luck!

 

I agree with the others. 1800 mi seems pretty high. I do think they can do better than 6200 for the 600 though. I'm thinkin 5800 or less, easy.

 

Hallpass, how's your 600 been treating you, what kind of riding do you do, and have you modified it in any way?

 

I argee with the others. 1800 miles is alot of miles. Go with the new. $6200 seems kinda high for a 04. I would check pricing at other dealers.

 

i would have to agree with the above that 1800 miles is far from "like new."

50-100 miles would be "like new."
