Just want to say I would buy my 700 all over again

Sure I have had a few issues but they are easily overshadowed by the enjoyment this ATV has provided me. I would definitely buy this one all over again. I am hoping the 500 EFI comes out in the fall. I want to pick one of those up for the wife.

LOL Treacherous.. I know how you feel, my wife and I would buy our Trailblazers all over again. The only issues I've had is we don't ride them enough

I wish I could agree, the only enjoyment I have had on my 03' sp700 twin is when it is sitting. The reason why? It will break when I start it! I have dumped more into this machine in parts, then I actually bought the thing for. I paid $5000 for it, and have "invested" more than that in parts and labor! From what I am hearing through other riders I know, 02' & 03' non-EFI models SUCK!!! Sportsman 700 twins need improvement! GO HONDA!!

Over 3500 miles and only replaced speedo because of a seal and collected moisture.
push a lot of snow in winter and lots of trails in smmer.

Yea, I think whoever owned it before me must have never maintenanced it, I bought it with 800 miles on it, by the 900 mile mark, it BLEW UP! Polaris replaced it with a new motor, and still eats 4oz of oil every ride (50 -100 mile ride) without leaking or visibly burning. I have also had to replace the voltage reg, CDI & wires, stator, circuit breakers under front hood, cylinoid, starter x 2, and rear braking hub.......I maintenance the machine through Polaris, so is it Maintenance or a LEMON? I change oil and grease it every ride now, just because I'm afraid it may break again!! Good to hear someone else has good luck with them, I never had one problem in 3 yrs owning a 1999 Honda Foreman 450S, went to polaris and had nothing but problems! Sorry I cried on your shoulders, just had to vent before I broke down! no pun intended Good luck riding and enjoy....By the way, I wouldn't trade the ride in for anything though!

I purchased a Sp700 in late November 2001 and I love it, I just wish I could afford a 800 EFI now. I have only had a few problems ( mostly caused by me, roll over, stump, lotsa mud ) but for being almost 4 years old I don't think I could ask for more. Now the little woman want's me to get one of them " sporty " models (LE White Predator or 450R Honda)so I can go race with the fella's on the Sand!
