What does I stand for in cat quads.

Well, you know what 'they' say about assuming, but yeah, I'd assume that.
These are our first ATV's, and prior to buying them we had no knowledge of them at all. So... Good luck with your new purchase. Just be careful.

Yeah,I know what you mean,,we just got the local paper and there was a article about a couple that died on their Honda quad, went up over a hill and down a 60ft bank to the stream below. A friend went looking for them the next day and found them. Apparently the driver did not know where he was going.

I'll tell you, mrtool, I have Yahoo grab all news stories that contain the letters "ATV", and it's damned scary! They're all about people getting killed. Every day there's more and more people going to meet their maker. You'd think that if you even touch an ATV, you're dead meat.
So, you've GOT to be careful on these things. I rolled mine over on me last year and I was really lucky that I didn't get a scratch. Bent up the rear rack so bad I had to buy a replacement. My son was riding my wife's ATV behind me and it scared the crap out of him (not to mention ME). I knicked up my helmet pretty good, so take my advice and don't leave home without one.
Where do you live?
A local cop rolled his ATV over on him and he's been in and out of a coma for almost 6 months. He was not wearing a helmet (and was not on duty at the time). So the danger is real, but if you take your time getting used to it, and then still take your time, you should be fine.
