Coolant Loss update -2003 700
#1
My machine is no longer losing coolant. Problem #1 was the leaking seal in the water pump causing coolant to enter the crankcase. That was corrected but still was losing coolant. It was not going in the crankcase nor was it leaking on the ground. I took it to my mechanic and told him what I had read on the forum about the head bolts being found not torqued to specs. He checked the bolts and got as much as 1 1/2 turns per bolt. He retorqued all of the bolts to factory specs!!!!! NO MORE COOLANT LOSS. Thanks to all who posted on this subject. It was a great help to me and now my machine is "LEAK" free.
