hey i just found out a good friend of mine was out riding about an hour ago without a helmet and hit a tree he has serious head trauma they have a helicopter waiting for him but they cant move him yet because he is on life support and not stabilized just asking for all you fellow riders to pray for my boy thanks.....

thanks man they finally got him airlifted they said there is some damage to his brain and they also did a little bit of reconstructive surgery on his face but right now the biggest problem is fluid and blood in his lungs so it is touch and go! anyway just another example of no matter how good of a rider you are or if you think it cant happen to you definetly wear a helmet and dont ride alone!!

VERY sorry to hear that. ill keep him in my prayers. always sad to hear these stories. this is real life everyone. wear a helmet. why not?

 

thanks for the thoughts and prayers as of right now it does not look good both of his lungs collapsed and there is severe swelling of the brain i am also guilty of riding with out a helmet but your life is worth so much more than the hundred bucks it costs for a helmet!!!! ride safe!!! paulie
