If you are talking about a DG for a 400 2 stroke then no they aren't any good. Your best bet would be to stay with companies that know Polaris. DG ain't one of them. Try HPD, Hotseat, Ritter cycle, and Aaen. These guys are good for 2 stroke performance. I don't know of anyone on the forum that has one.

I would stay away from DG unless you just want a louder exhaust. There's a reason you can find them so cheap. What type of quad are you putting the exhaust on?

'96 400 sport. I hate that big ugly silencer, I want a little better 2-stroke sound but I don't want to spend a small fortune getting it.

I would say its questionable about their quality of performance on Polaris ATVs but I have one on my Quadzilla with no complaints. Better then the FMF quadzilla pipe that is almost stock

aaen pipes are real tinny sounding. sounds of a true 2-stroke. i've heard nothing but bad things about dg pipes for polaris, especialy for the 400.

Might as well check out the stage 1 kit. Not that much more, and you'll want the spring and air filter anyway.
