Hey guys,
I am in the need of new tires for my 86 TRX 250R. I was thinking of XCT's or Bandits in the 22" size for the rears and 23" for the fronts. Are these to much tire for the R? I would like a little more ground clearance, but I dont want to loose much if any power. I also dont want to destroy my rear bearings or axle! Could I use different size sprockets to compensate for the bigger tires? I do mostly woods type of riding and an occasional sand pit run. Also, the 22" rear sizes are also wider, would that pose any probs? Should be better traction?
"Wider Is Better".....right! ;-)
Thanks........Herbie

the 22" tires shouldnt be too hard on the bearings, but it might be harder on the clutch because it cant spin em as easy, id go with a tooth smaller on the front sprocket.
