Was it because the other manufacturers could never win and were mad?

No one banned any of the 4 wheelers, just the trikes and that was an industry wide move.

Lawsuits and liabilities were the name of the game.

 

I thought that they banned the 250R's from competition, at least that is what i thought i read in a magazine. It was in an article about one of the pro riders he said he would still be riding the R today if they hadn't banned them. Can't remember the magazine or the riders name. Maybe i just read it wrong.

yes since honda was kicking everyones butts (pfft) they simply told them to stop making the 250r, so they did...its as simple as that

 

Ahh thats why they are banned. They have to still be in prodution.
