Just got my new smart EFI yesterday. It felt very responsive around the yard but I am leaving in an hour for St anthony for two days. I will let you know how it feels when I get back.

HOW IS THE THROTTLE RESPONSE. HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE TO LEAR ITSELF TO YOUR SET UP. CAN IT BEUSED WITH 100 OCTANE FUEL?

it takes 2-3 revs thru the rpm range to learn your engines fuel needs..that's it. You need to specify to Kelly what fuel you'll be running ie. gas or alky, does not matter the octane. The systems he has sent outare still prototypes and are still being tweaked, but within the next week or two the code will be finalized and than the production will begin. The KMS system has been field tested in desert and dunes for the last year and a half and has proved very durable.

ANY MORE REVIEWS ON THIS SYSTEM? HOW DO YOU KNOW WHAT YOU IDEAL AIR FUEL IS? I THINK IT CHANGES DEPENDING ON COMPRESSION CAMS AND SO FORTH. SO WHAT DO THE SET IT TO? I HEAR 14:1 IS TO LEAN BUT SOUNDS LIKE 12:1 MAY BE TO FAT
