Went riding this last weekend with another guy, whos got a new bruin 350. He was complaining that the engines makes some unpleasant noises, especially at higher rpm. Theres kindof a knocking noise from the cvt area. It has about 20 hours on it.
Anyone else experience this on theirs? normal? dry clutch?
My kodiak isnt quiet, but theres no objectional noises, like knocks, and i realize air cooled motors are gonna be louder.

 

I have an 04 bruin 4x4, and I have not noticed any objectional noises. Hope he gets it figured out!

 

I think we figured it out. Took the cover off the tranny and were looking it over, to see if everything was good. Weights were properly lubed, but the belt was 1/16 of an inch under the low limit on the width. Got one on order, and were hoping this was the cause of the noise.
