Default Just when it was running so great!(front sprocket gone)

I went to the cliffs sunday and did lots of jumping and riding wheelies, my front end was off the ground most the time. At the end of the day I heard a loud clicking sound from the rear end. This happend 2 times each when I punched it. I drove it back down to the truck and it looked like the chain was loose. I decided to just load it up and fix it when I got home. I just adjusted the chain and went to test it out and it did it again. So I got a light and looked at the drive sprocket and all the teeth are gone

My question is, can I just get another polaris sprocket or should I get an after market one that will handle the extra HP from my mods? Do I need to get a new chain also? It is an 04.

I have been told that if you replace your chain to replace your sprokets also. I have always done so, not to sure but with the front sproket chewed up it might have put some wear on the chain. I would replace both sprokets and the chain at the same time.

Is the epi set ok, or is there a better setup for the scrambler?

Id go primary drive from rocky mountain the sprockets are cheap and the chains seem nice.

I have a 12 tooth primary drive front sprocket on mine with the stock chain and havn;t had any problems.

I got my Sunstar sprockets from Hot Seat and went with a DID X-Ring chain from Rocky MT ATV. Havent had any problems with either.

Someone else told me that too. Did you try calling them? They use to. Thats where I got mine. I know that the front was a Sunstar, not positive if the rear was too or if it was another brand. But, it came from Hot Seat

I called rick and he said the rear is polaris only because its 36t so I ordered just the front, as the rear looks new still. he did say I should get a new chain incase it got damaged, How many links is the scrambler 04 chain?
