Raptor misfires when riden

Default Raptor misfires when riden

My raptor misfires when I get on it. It revs up perfect when I am off of it but when loaded it sputers to the point of stalling. Does anyone have any sugestions?

Default Raptor misfires when riden

Floats are out of whack. go to www.blue$traxx.com (take out the $)and go to fourms, then raptor, and then the sticky called "Clear tube Method" follow that. Or your parking brake could be shot, if so then it wont let the bike rev over 2000 RPM, and it will sound like a rev- limiter.

when it sputters check to see if your (reverse light) is coming on and off.

Default Raptor misfires when riden

I unpluged the electrical cable going to the parking brake and it is running fine now. The problem seems to be in that area.
