do stock tires work ok in sand or sould i get right away sand tires because im goin up to silver lake sand dunes wit my friend and i want to beat him. he has a 250ex so its should be easy on trails but i dont know on sand because of traction.

 

well stockers do ok in the dunes but you wont be going up to many big hills. you can go up some but not very steep ones. i have been to the dunes 4 times and all those times i didnt have paddles. i wished i did but i was selling them anyways. you can use them if you air them down alot, but you still have to be on the throttle alot, you can get geckos for 40 a tire or sand stars for about 50 a tire, remember paddles are nice, but you can ride the dunes whithout them
