What's everyone getting for gas mileage (mpg) on the Grizzlys?

 

AHHHH, I see my art work has made it to another avatar. Good deal. um, my grizz gets about 20/21 with the K&N and opened up billet tip. Pretty good.

 

Roughly 15 mpg

 

did anybody see in the new Dirt Wheels where the Grizzly get 7-8 mpg. I average just a little over miles per tank, with stock tires and K&N air filter....

 

I can get over 60 mi. per tank , thats better than 12 mpg. with my mods, I think thats respectable.

 

Oh my, 7 to 8 mpg?? With gas prices on the way down that is still on the rough side of my wallet.

 

15-17mpg.

Dirt wheels is full of it.

 

I thought I was seeing things when I read it, but I have read it over and over and also showed the local dealer-ship,,,,they all laughed.... My buddy also has an 05 Yamaha Grizzly with a K&N air filter and he is right at 16.5 to 17 mpg...

I sent Dirt Wheels an e-mail about what I thought about the info stated in the magazine, let's just see what kind of excuss they give me.

Hahahah, that is true. I wonder how many guys have that now? I think it's cool. I actually made a contrabution to the site. YYYEEEAAAHHHHH.
