Hey i was wondering if you guys can help me out on this. I have a 03 bombardier ds650 and im looking to put on a aftermarket exhaustand was wondering which exhaust is the best sounding but has a decibel level lower then 97. My choices are a white brothers e2, pro cirtcute t4, yoshimira, big gun, ct racing, alba, hmf, trinity stage 5, ron wood, or fmf if you guys can help me with this , it will make it alote easier for me, or if you can tell me what kinds of pipes you have on your ds and how you like them.

im thinking of the white brothers, hmf or the alba but i want it to have the most hp and is able to be tuned for sound. does ne one kno how an hmf slip on is on a ds, or an alba pipe, or white brothers?

I have an HMF slip-on on my DS right now. I bought it from mrhp for about 230 ish. I really like the power increase, and for the money its one of the best. All of the other exhausts i looked at were around 500 give or take. So for the power and price im really happy with it.

I live in california where the DB limit is 96db. I run the FMF Powercore 4 and the HMF. I use the FMF for places I need the DB's to be low. But when I ride in places that don't have limits I remove the quiet core and it runs just as well as the HMF. So for sound restrictions i would recommend the FMF Powercore 4 and buy the quiet core. Plus the quality of the pipe is 2nd to none. And price is around $240.

hey guys thanks alot you guys were a big help, i was just wondering what the hmf sounds like( is it like a white brothers?) and im thinking about the brand new white brothers, the one u can replace the quiet core on it. How are the big gun pipes? Are they loud with the aftermarket quit core in them, or is the quiet series better?

I had an HMF slip on for the 03 and it was loud.
I met one of the district managers for Big Gun at the Extreme Expo and he told me that ALL pipes had to be sold with a quiet core to meet decible restrictions unless it specificly states that a particular pipe is a RACE version.

Call here http://www.hpresearch.net/and ask which one. There was a guy on who said
he liked the hmf quiet pipe. I dont know if they changed the way they are building them
but my hmf is not all that loud to me.

If your not going to modd the engine a bunch I would call HPR and ask them about there new tuneable pipe. A lot better overall power spread than others. If your going to do engine work then thats a whole new ball game..
