Default Dyna CDI Installed and test ridden

So I got my Dynda CDI for my '05 650 V2 the other day, and it was crappy out so I didn't give it much of a test ride. Today however, I was able to give it a good test and do a side by side comparison with my buddy's 650.

Before the CDI my 650 pulled wheelies with ease in low, but it took a great amount of effort to pull a nice wheelie in high gear. After installing the CDI, low gear wheelies are flat out scary easy, and high gear wheelies are as easy as low gear ones used to be. With a pretty heavy tailwind, it registered 70mph on the speedo, but it probably would have done that before.

My buddy's stock 650 got blown away in the wheelie department. It is flat out ridiculous how easy it comes up now.

I noticed large power gains down low, and overall it feels a bit more snappy. For those who have thought about getting a cdi, I can't say enough how much I am glad to have one.

Those boxes are one of the best things we have found for a easy bolt on performance gain and it only takes about 1 minute to install.

Hey chumley, could I ask you how much that cdi cost you? If you don't mind telling. Thank-you!

You can get them on Ebay for 180 bucks, for the 650V2. And yes, they are an amazing thing
