What does the wear ring look like? I just want to make sure that I replace the right part. I recently purchased a 2000 DS650 and the carrier and bearings I know are bad. But I found what I think is a Wear ring that is cracked. It has a partial cone type look to it. Any help from you guys would be greatly appreciated! Just Trying to get it going so I can ride this beast!!

I'm thinking that's the bearing race you're talking about. You'll get new ones when purchasing new bearings for the carrier.

he sent me a private om asking about the wear rings, I told him there is one on the brake hub side and sprocker hub side and the seal rides on these but they are not cone shaped, he must be talking about the races
