I'm rejetting my lakota & want a quiet pipe that also will perform W/the jet kit. Is this a wise choice for me?

 

well your not gonna like this news but the cobra pipes suck and you probally wont beable to feel any gain even thou it might add a slight bit of power and its really loud so its proballynot the type of pipe you wanty to get....................i would go with the big gun slip on, and every week or 2 some1 puts brand new 1's on ebay for 150 buy it now, so unless you like wasting money dont get the cobra and if you dont see the big gun on ebay for a while then id get a supertrapp ids2 from rocky mountain cuz their only around 200 bucks and they are about the same noise level as stock but they have a nice low tone so they sound good

 

Yea, Holeshot has it right.

Cobra might be the worst exhaust on the market. Total junk. Little to no power increase, and a lot of noise.

Try looking for an FMF Q-series or something like that.

 

Thanks for the tips, guys- I've been keeping an eye out for the BigGun slip on, but still haven't seen one. The way you describe the Supertrapp IDS2 sounds like a good alternative, I'm gonna hold out one more week & see what happens. Next(Tues Night), I'm adjusting the valves, they're ticking pretty good & I don't want to ride again till I do.

 

i ordered my big gun from www.biggunexhaust.com you should check it out...except they have to custom make because not enough ppl order it so they stooped making it so ull have to wait a lil longer...but its gonna be worth the wait when i get it[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img]
