Hey ive recently got interested in cross country racing .It looks fun.Does anyone here race?Im getting a 220 soon and am 15 and would like to know what class to race in.Any info would help.Im gettin a pipe and filter if that determines the class u ride in.I dont care what series it is i just want to have fun and throw some roost!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

probley 200 to 250 4 stroke moddifed class would be my gess i have been thinkin about entering some of my local races on my 220.
tell me how it turns out.

First of all, I encourage you to go for it (racing), but be warned that the suspension on the 220 is not (let me put it this way) "not built for racing". Trust me, getting more than 8 feeet of air and landing hard on ur bayou is NOT FUN ( i did this racing my cousin on his 250 yamaha dirt bike). If you are that bent on racing competively, get upgraded shocks...I think someone posted on this topic awhile back.....I only race my 220 around the forest roads and the 110 feet of beach on my lake (lol thats the great lakes for you... usually 5 feet of beach...go figure) Thats my 2 cents plus some!
