Ive been looking for a while and i got to my 2 choices I know yamaha really dependable but is it worth the uncomfortable trail riding(from wat i heard)..? And the Z400 everyone says really good bike i got on it today and it felt pretty good.
Im 6'2 235lb
Mainly trail riding and racing with friends a little bit and riding around

The z400 is a great trail bike and has plenty of power for it.
Your're right about the rough ride the yfz gives but it is a faster bike.
I think for the type of riding you would be doing the z is better, and you
should be more comfortable on it than the yfz.
Oh yeah don't forget about reverse on the z.

 

If you want a quad for performance the raptor. If you want a quad to cruise around and for trail riding the z400 is the one to get. I have had a z400 and its really comfortable for trailing and is a good machine to cruise around. The raptor is better for drag racing or hill racing. I would get the z400. Its a better all around quad.

 

Z400 or KFX400...same machine, different colors.
