Warrior and 300ex tech. questions?

If you modify a warrior like a pipe,cam,piston ect.do you have to worry about over reving the engine,since it doesn't have a rev limiter? if so can you fix it so it wont strain the engine to hard,like add taller tires ect?and can a 300ex ported and polished bored out ect keep up with a warrior if the engine has been ported and polished with a 10-2.5-1 piston if every thing else is pretty stock? I know my dad's thinking of doing it himself sometime?Thanks for any info. yall!
