Last weekend i took my gps to the dunes and used it to get a speed reading on the flats with my 690 and the most i could get out of it was 73.4 mph.I would think that with my low gearing(12-44)and adding the fact that i was running ten paddle haulers that 73.4 is not too bad?I could have probably got a little more out of it by sitting lower on the tank and going a little further but 73.4 with the above set up on wet sand seemed pretty good to me.Has anyone else made any top speed runs with the 12-44 gearing that i use and if so what were the results?
